THE TASTY JUANE
Juane is very rich and varied Peruvian gastronomy, with a fragrance and flavor of the jungle. I say it this way because it is a typical food of the jungle region of Peru. The Juane is consumed in memory of Juan The Baptist during the feast of San Juan that is celebrated in different cities of the jungle region. Basically the Juane is a combination that is made to the rice, chicken pieces, boiled egg and olives are also added, everything is wrapped in bijao leaf and cooked in a pot with boiling water. Besides that it is delicious there are types of Juanes.
REGIONAL CHICKEN JUANE
It is the typical Juane or original Juane as it is called contains rice, chicken pieces, boiled egg and olives. Its very good, most people drink it with chicha of jora.
PORK JUANE
Replacing the chicken it contains pieces of pork that gives it a different flavor and is just as good.
For lunch we eat rice with chicken stew or it depend if my mother or my brother are up to cooking something different and of course I hope to learn to cook soon for myself to prepare the lunch. At dinner my family and I do not eat much and it is up to each of us to prepare whatever that want, personally only drink milk with cereal or a cookie during virtual classes. There are also times when we have dinner away from home.
